Australian-American biologist who directs the Paul F. Glenn Laboratories for the Biological Mechanisms of Aging at Harvard and co-wrote the book Lifespan. He is known for research on sirtuins, NAD+ and epigenetic reprogramming, including his Information Theory of Aging, and for co-founding companies such as Sirtris and Life Biosciences. Several of his claims, including those on resveratrol and age reversal, have been disputed by other scientists.
