Aubrey de Grey

Biomedical gerontologist, President and CSO, LEV Foundation

English biomedical gerontologist who proposed SENS (strategies for engineered negligible senescence) and co-wrote Ending Aging. He co-founded the Methuselah Foundation and the SENS Research Foundation, and he argues that people alive today may avoid dying from age-related causes, a view many scientists dispute. He left SENS Research Foundation in 2021 after an investigation into harassment allegations and now leads the Longevity Escape Velocity Foundation.
